High availability due to data replication and backup. Data import and export is easy through scripts. Availability of free tools for learning and training.

A bit expensive. Non-structured data is not supported.

Supported on multiple platforms, either on-premise, cloud or hybrid environments. Allows both transactional and analytical/reporting workloads. High Availability options including RAC (Real Application Cluster) + Disaster Recovery with Active/Active standby options.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Reliabilty. I have worked with databases that stayed online for more than a year without any significant issue or performance impact
What do you dislike most about this product?
Usually is more expensive than other products for On-Premise licensing.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is the most complete and reliable RDBMS. You need to evaluate the features required by your organization and can decide which edition suits better your needs.
