Oracle BPM Suite is difficult to set up and configure, especially for enterprises lacking a strong technical foundation. This level of intricacy may necessitate specialized training and knowledge. The suite’s extensive features and capabilities may make it hardware and infrastructure resource-intensive, potentially resulting in increased expenses.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Oracle BPM Suite enabled the automation of manual operations and decision-making phases inside processes, potentially increasing productivity and reducing human error. It provided adaptive case management features, allowing for more dynamic handling of unstructured processes and exceptions. The suite enabled mobile access and social collaboration, allowing users to connect with processes and participate from a variety of devices.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The setup is quite simple, but expert consulting services are strongly advised because our implementation took a lot of time to prepare the environment. Once operational, the infrastructure was incredibly reliable and had excellent performance. The company rapidly started using it as intended after realising the advantages they were seeking.

What do you dislike most about this product?

This tool is ageing quickly. more intricate than what is required right now. The platform needed to manage a lot of content. The infrastructure required a lot of maintenance. Although Oracle's documentation is fantastic, maintaining it took a significant amount of project time. To make the process of creating a different environment simple so we could test the update before putting it on stage or even in production, we had to employ a third-party programme.

"Among the best Oracle Bpm tool sets available, this one is powerful. In my own experience, I have primarily used the JDeveloper framework, which enables the creation of flows using the BPMN notation, as well as the integration of ADF screens with SOA web services, and thanks to its Java language development, makes it easier to realize undefined requirements as needed.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Overall, it's a great solution that's simple to use, put into practice, and flawlessly adapts to BPMN 2 notation. We successfully migrated roughly 40 BPMs from our system to Oracle BPM over a year; even though we lacked a mechanism to do so automatically, we managed to do it on schedule from scratch, giving us the chance to examine some of them and make improvements.

What do you dislike most about this product?

MOS and customer service may both use some improvement. Lower-level technicians' knowledge and level of service are below par. The product still needs to be tuned. Ex: The libraries and deployment targets at the end of the screens during the installation phase are terrible. The complete installation will fail if you forget something here. The product is rather complicated and challenging to set up. Management of transactions and dehydration might both be made easier.

Business processes can now be specified using BPMN thanks to Oracle BPM Suite, making it simple for the technical IT staff to take them up and automate them.
