Great for storing stuff, not so much for finding

What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?
it’s sort of the invisible backbone of our agency’s content storage and version control. Compared to Google Drive or Dropbox, SharePoint gives you tighter control over permissions and integrates deeply with Teams and Outlook.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
When I’m editing campaign copy for clients, I can easily check what the strategist or editor changed before my version. It saves a ton of back-and-forth on Slack or email. Also, the metadata tagging—though I didn't love it at first—does help when you're knee-deep in folder chaos.
What do you dislike most about this product?
don’t get me started on the dreaded “you don’t have permission” errors—it randomly locks me out of folders I use every day.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you're in a team like ours with content flying back and forth, it’s definitely worth getting to grips with. But make sure you set up a clear folder structure early—retroactive cleanup is a nightmare
Pros
- Trustworthy
- Effective Service
- Saves Time
- Fair
