The differentiating factor for Microsoft Share point is we can create our own site using Share Point, also we can decide access because we are the admin of our site. If something is modified then using its tracking feature we can be notified very quickly.

My favorite aspect about this product is that it offers team interaction with document storage in an organized way, also it can be easily integrated with other tools. Also it is time saving because of simultaneous access and update of content.

What do you dislike most about this product?

What I dislike is when we have poor network connection then it might be possible that our work is not updated until there is a stable connection and it may be also possible that the work done is not saved.

I would say if anyone is looking for secure file sharing with quick set up then go for Microsoft Share Point without any hesitation. Their technical support and service are very cool and they are responsive during odd hours as well.

Microsoft Sharepoint was a fantastic experience for me. Before I started using Sharepoint, I had no idea that such a sophisticated collaboration tool existed. I can keep a significant quantity of data in Sharepoint, share it with the appropriate team members with Read/Change access as needed, and collaborate with them in real-time to create or edit documents. Overall, it is the most effective tool for collaborative work that I have seen.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Microsoft Sharepoint contains practically all of the functions that a user could want. One feature that I believe is missing is the ability to lock an edit for a specific user at a specific period. If the document creator so desires, he should be able to lock the document even for those having edit access at a certain moment, allowing only the inventor to edit it. This is especially useful when focus work needs to be done and intrusion from other editors is unwanted.
