What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?
Microsoft Sharepoint is extremely intuitive and easy to use. The layout and organization of documents is modern and sleek and truly feels like no other product. We have completely revamped our file organization system with Sharepoint and are able to house our documents in a way that everyone can understand.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The real time collaboration capabilities and the sharing capabilities. I love how Sharepoint feels truly collaborative and like a team experience, Being able to edit and share documents in real time is a game changer and allows for our team to collaborate and work together. Also being able to share documents in a variety of different ways is very cool and helpful, and I like how you have a breadth of options for what you want to do with your documents.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There is a learning curve with this product and it may take a while to get used to the organization, searching for documents, where to start, etc. I would say the learning curve is completely worth it and once you get used to the system, it starts to feel like second nature.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Be really confident in your organization method that you start with and put time into perfecting that system. I think that you need to set yourself up for success and put a lot of time into getting the product set up, so you can be successful down the line.
