What differentiates Microsoft Sentinel from other similar products?
Azure Sentinel is cloud native azure offering helps to secure your cloud environment. It has much better integration with azure compute, DB and other azure services compare to other vendor product.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Azure Sentinel can help you identify anomalies on your IaaS VMs with the help of its agent which is really good. This can help you to find any Data leakages too
What do you dislike most about this product?
When we used this product initially it was consuming lots of memory on VMs which I guess now fixed.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are in highly regulated industry like Banking or healthcare and have deployment on public azure cloud. Then Sentinel is must for your compliance and tracking purpose along with security.

What differentiates Microsoft Sentinel from other similar products?
Core integration with soar platform and powerful kql queries really differentiate Sentinel with other vendors.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Writing powerful kql queries is best I have seen, not so complicated yet very useful.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I think hidden cost for log ingestion, there is not much written about hidden cost when and how they will occur.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you prefer cloud to cloud integration sentinel is for you.

Best SIEM tool in market though a bit pricy

What differentiates Microsoft Sentinel from other similar products?
Its the next generation of cloud-native SIEM that is highly scalable and protects you from a wide range of threats on a near real-time basis resulting in fewer security breaches. Detailed analysis reports post-threat identification further safeguards you from avoiding similar security threats
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Microsoft Azure Sentinel offers the best enterprise-level security information event management tool compared to legacy SIEM providers as it analyses and prevents threats in near real-time. It is easy to scale it to a larger workforce with minimal security infrastructure setup and maintenance.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Apart from being a bit costly, I would like to see improved and easy integration with third-party solutions. Network detection and response (NDR) is currently far behind compared to some of the leading SIEM providers
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
The product is full of features as a security information event management tool and has one of the best efficiencies in threats mitigation, but pricing can be a barrier. If cost is not an option, go for it.
