We're solving multiple issues with MS Project
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Project from other similar products?
At the beginning of a schedule, Microsoft Project is an effective planning tool. Used at the beginning of a contract, it aids in making plans. Useful as a starting point for further analysis. We are resolving a number of issues, including how to keep track of a large number of enterprise-level projects and programs, how to evaluate resource conflicts and limitations, and how to keep projects on track in terms of both cost and schedule.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Microsoft's product has undergone several iterations throughout the years, and the result is a refined final version. Several of the product's features are excellent, and the product's capacity to communicate with other projects and share information is invaluable to our project managers in their day-to-day operations. The budgeting system is well organized.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Disappointingly, schedule updates do not provide any obvious indications of movement. When analyzing delays in a schedule, this tool is not the easiest to use. It's not useful after the original project schedule has been created.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you need to create schedules, I highly suggest using this program. To the contrary, I would not suggest this program to anyone who regularly performs multi-stage schedule delay analyses.
Pros
- Enables Productivity

"Very complete tool for managing projects."
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Project from other similar products?
It differs from other programs because it has an excellent price and is very easy to use.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
For me, Microsoft Project was a great experience. It's an advanced piece of software for managing projects, with a wide variety of features for facilitating teamwork throughout the project lifecycle. Particularly useful for me was the Gantt chart function, which allowed me to see where the project was behind and where the delays would be occurring. The intuitive layout of the program made it easy for me to plan my work and allocate my resources. It was also helpful that it worked with other Microsoft programs I was already familiar with, such Excel and SharePoint, so that I could easily share and collaborate on data with my team.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Those unfamiliar with project management software have observed that there is a steep learning curve to using the software. There is also a high level of expertise in project management processes and techniques required to get the most out of the program, so novices may want to look elsewhere.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Because it is possible to manage multiple projects in one location and because all team members have access to and can examine Microsoft's road map updates, I highly recommend this program for its many features and functions.
Pros
- Reliable
- Unique Features
- Efficient Service
- Effective Service
