The mobile app keeps track of my stats
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?
Power BI's mobile app is better than Qlik for reports on the go because it gives me a clear view of my data. It's my keychain digital pocket.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
This app shows me tiles that show my "revenue by month." I can touch these tiles to see more information. You can restart live, even if your internet is slow, so I can stay up to date.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I made a mistake once because offline mode is restricted and needs dashboards to be.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
pre-loaded. With power bi's app, you can keep in touch for mobile tracking.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity

Great for data-driven Teams, but new user friendly
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?
What makes Microsoft Power BI stand out is its balance of power and affordability. Unlike many other tools, it offers advanced data modeling, real-time dashboards, and interactive visuals without requiring expensive licenses. It's also deeply connected to tools people already use, like Excel and Microsoft Teams, which makes adoption easier in Microsoft-based environments. Plus, it supports a wide range of data sources and has a strong community for support and learning.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect of Power BI is its ability to turn complex data into clear, interactive visuals. Once a report is built, it’s easy to explore the data, filter what you need, and spot trends without having to dig through spreadsheets. It helps people understand their data at a glance, which makes decision-making faster and more confident.
What do you dislike most about this product?
What I dislike most about Power BI is that it’s not very beginner-friendly. The interface can feel overwhelming at first, and building reports or setting up data models often requires technical knowledge, especially with DAX formulas or Power Query. For someone without a data background, it can take a while to get comfortable.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you’re considering Power BI, start by learning the basics first, especially how to connect data and create simple visuals. Don’t rush into complex features like DAX or advanced modeling until you’re more comfortable. If your team already uses Microsoft tools like Excel or Teams, Power BI will fit in well. Also, take advantage of the free training resources, Microsoft offers tutorials, and the community is very active. Finally, plan your data structure early, because good organization makes building reports much easier down the line.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Unique Features
- Efficient Service
