It can create a VM in a few steps
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines from other similar products?
You can easily create a desktop environment and start using it. Setting up a server in the cloud environment made it relatively easy to set up telework by simply setting up a VPN environment when telework started. Also, since the VPN tool is free and provided by MS, it was easy to implement internally, and we were able to keep costs low. There are many server plans, etc., so if a plan suits your company, you should consider submitting it.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
As part of our BCP (Bulk Copy Program) measures, we considered moving the desktop environment to the cloud and decided to introduce it. As a result, BCP measures and data security have been improved, such as not storing data locally. At the time of deployment, it is possible to install MS Office and the applications necessary for the business simultaneously (of course, some things are impossible), so the environment creation time can be shortened.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It would be difficult for non-professionals to understand the difference in nature between a VM environment and a local environment.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Before using Azure Virtual Machines, it took a lot of time to create virtual machines. With Azure Virtual Machines, templates can be used to create virtual machines automatically, so we were able to reduce the work hours involved in creating virtual machines. Specifications can be changed one by one according to the content of the job. Because it can create a VM in a few steps, it is very convenient when making many VMs. The price is relatively low among various VM services.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
