Security Needs a Hands-On Approach
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines from other similar products?
Azure has deep security integration with enterprise tools like Active Directory and Defender for Cloud, which makes it a solid choice for organizations that are already in the Microsoft ecosystem.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It gives real-time security recommendations and helps with compliance tracking. The Identity Protection features are also great—conditional access policies and identity threat detection help prevent unauthorized access
What do you dislike most about this product?
A fresh Azure deployment isn’t secure by default—you have to manually tighten access controls, configure logging, and enable security policies
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Azure’s default settings are secure enough. Implement role-based access control (RBAC) properly, enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) everywhere, and regularly audit permissions.
Pros
- Trustworthy
- Efficient Service
- Inspires Innovation
- Client Friendly Policies

Cloud for Versatility of the Scalable Architecture
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines from other similar products?
Some of the factors that make Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines unique include SLAs, availability of many machine images, as well as tight coupling with many Azure solutions such as Azure DevOps, Data Factory, and so on. Autoscaling allows the consumption of resources that correspond to the current demand, whereas the security center of Azure predicts security threats. On the other hand, the spread of the datacenter around the world provides fast access to the resources, as steady high availability and performance are always required across continents for some organizations.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
In that regard, Azure Virtual Machines stand out in that I can easily provision hardware resources on the fly and go from testing to production environments. Integration with other Microsoft services, including Active Directory, further enhances the essence of cross-platform identity and access management. In addition, the monitoring and alerting level of this platform helps me protect my operations with customized capacity, performance, and security levels that allow me to identify any problem on time well before it becomes a headache.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Customers often find it overwhelming when in search of the right size of a VM in Azure, since the firm offers a wide range of options. Furthermore, there could be an improvement when seeking recommendations on how to connect an onsite environment with Azure since hybrid designs could be complex in most cases.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Starting development and testing servers within a short span of time is not a big issue, which means that our teams can be more innovative. Another improvement I have noticed is the security element of Azure, which Azure has integrated along with the ongoing analysis, making my work easier and allowing upgrading of processes and services continuously.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
