It works seamlessly with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and other Microsoft services — making it the go-to for organizations already using that stack. It supports passwordless sign-ins and push-based MFA approvals, which are smoother and more secure than just typing in a TOTP code.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of Microsoft Authenticator is its seamless passwordless sign-in

What do you dislike most about this product?

What I dislike most about Microsoft Authenticator is the lack of cross-device sync for third-party accounts.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you use Microsoft 365, Azure, or Outlook regularly, this is the best authenticator app for smooth integration and passwordless sign-ins. Enable cloud backup for your Microsoft account right away. It'll save you time and stress if you ever switch or lose your device.
