The Setup. Easy to setup campaigns, packages, placements and budgets.

The limitation to not able to change budget when the month is reconciled on actualized.

A nice tool for large advertising companies to keep plan, track campaign budgets on a granular level.

What differentiates Mediaocean from other similar products?

The cross channel native reconciliation engine for media buys is a feature that made us jump from separate legacy ERP platforms to Mediaocean. With our streamlined finance functioning right here, we managed to cut down on the number of leaks in manual invoicing through our Gurgaon and Pune client servicing team, a thing smaller SaaS solutions couldn't do. Put simply, our procurement team obtained compliance clearance with the secure ledger, which self-serve booking tools were not able to provide.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The closed-loop Prism integration automatically uploads to our accounting modules the actualized spend they reach for each month, eliminating some 20 hours of manual input for our campaign team per client cycle. I can simply access raw API schemas directly for our internal reporting dashboards without disrupting connection states.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Hybrid work weeks put the strain on slow Tier 3 home broadband connections, just to load up draft campaigns.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This platform is ideal for large holding companies that spend multimillions on media each year, both traditional and digital. It simply is not for small and agile performance marketing shops that can't wait and need ad-hoc launch needs immediately.
