What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

The JIRA is very easy and straightforward application to use. The inbuilt features help to run any development and service teams with agile methodologies. The report feature is great, it gives you a clear picture to understand how the projects are progressing to reach goals.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The JIRA boards are definitely useful. The user management is great. The access level is well defined. The clous infrastructure provides seamless integration with other applications.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The documentation on JIRA could have been better, it could even have pages to understand the agile methodology, where the scrum master or anyone from team could get benefited from.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Just go for it as there isn't another other product in the market that has got the features, what JIRA is providing at the moment.

Significant ramp up time to deploy and assimilate.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Perform an internal assessment of how ready you are to begin using Jira. If project management and IT management processes are not present, they will need to be defined prior to implementing Jira.

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

Jira seems to be well ahead of any competition due to the name they build for itself and the resources they invest in innovation

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Easy project management and visibility it provides into what teams are working on

What do you dislike most about this product?

Reporting could be better - it's not that easy to find the information you need, like answers to questions about what's the current load on the team and team members - Jira has reporting capabilities, but the filters are hard to write.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

For a smaller team, this may be overkill, but definitely a must-have as the team and company grow.
