What differentiates Infor CloudSuite from other similar products?
Compared to similar products, it was very easy to connect M3 Prod database to another GRC (Governance Risk Compliance) Analytics software using Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) to automate the Duplicate Payments reporting using payment data from M3. Moreover, the user interface is very clean and easy to navigate around.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
1. Compared to other applications, it loads up quickly and does not require restarting the system 2. It has a relatively longer inactivity-log out period which saves you from the hassle of logging in multiple times when not using continuously 3. Features such as APS 200 and APS 205 make it easy to look up payments by vendor and invoice number respectively
What do you dislike most about this product?
1. Learning curve can be steep since it takes a few clicks and right-clicks to open the document 2. The document, i.e. invoice opens in image format page by page instead of PDF format with all pages in the same document 3. When access to a function is restricted to certain divisions of the organization, it may not be clear to the user since no “access denied” message pops up
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Besides the regular month-end close performed by Accounts Payable, Infor M3 software offers countless features and benefits when it comes to accounting processes. My former organization was able to use Infor M3 for payments related to procurement of services as it shows which invoices are outstanding and which have already been paid. When the organization filed for bankruptcy, I was able to use M3 to validate vendor claims relating to the Chapter 11 bankruptcy by reconciling and analyzing amounts from M3.
