What differentiates Google Meet from other similar products?
Though it is worth nothing that Google meets is exception because it integrate seamlessly into the entire Google workspace. It is easy and straightforward to set up or join meetings from Gmail calendar without the use of third party apps. The same is true of the simple and stable nature of the platform and its ability to facilitates video and audio conferences of high quality on various devices and by both ends.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect is its minimalistic design, joining a meeting is quite easy and the merging of Google calendar eliminates the tedious task of keeping up with the meetings. Additionally , I can work o the ohter Google workspace tools such as Docs or sheets during the meeting to increase productivity. I also appreciate the fact that I can joining or initiate meetings on virtually any device.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The one major downside is the inability to modify meeting layouts compared to its competitors. Customization options for features such as virtual backgrounds breakout room management and advanced moderation controls also be better. It may also face limitations in certain environment due to the absence in built whiteboards and poor integration of non-google based applications.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would personally highly recommend the product, if the team requires advanced features like detailed analytics, extensive customization or third party integration .
