What differentiates Google Meet from other similar products?
Being integrated with other Google suite apps is a great feature that other video conferencing platforms aren't able to offer in the same way.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love how easy it is to use, especially with scheduling meetings. Some of our staff who aren't as tech comfortable prefer Google Meets over other video call apps because it feels more intuitive and simple.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I wish it had some additional features like a waiting room or the ability to hold very large meetings. In place of a waiting room, it is nice to be able to see who is already in a call before you join a meeting.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you're already using Google suite products and need a video conferencing option for basic meetings, this is an excellent option.

What differentiates Google Meet from other similar products?
Google Meet is such a cornerstone of our daily operations. One of the things that sets Google Meet apart from other video conferencing tools is its integration with the broader Google Workspace ecosystem. We’re already using Google Sheets, Docs, and Drive extensively, so having a video meeting platform that effortlessly ties into these tools just makes sense. What is your favorite aspect of this product?
One of my favorite features—though it's tough to pick just one—is the automatic live captions. In our industry, there’s often a lot of background noise, whether it’s the hum of construction machinery or the bustle of an open-plan office. Live captions ensure that nothing gets lost in translation, and they’ve been particularly helpful during those meetings with less-than-stellar audio connections.
What do you dislike most about this product?
If I had to nitpick, I’d say that Google Meet could improve its breakout rooms feature. While it’s great for small group discussions, I’ve found it a bit clunky when trying to split larger teams into smaller, focused groups mid-meeting.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
In the grand scheme of things, Google Meet has been incredibly beneficial for Mbuilds. It’s streamlined our communication, making it easier to stay connected with teams regardless of their location. I 100% recommend it
