Simple and effective tool for video chats

What differentiates Google Meet from other similar products?
Google Meets seems to be the leader in video call technologies. They were the first ones I saw with the easy meeting link, right from the browser. After that everyone else started following suit. I love the simplicity and ease of use, also it is great how it is free for non-business users as well.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love how easy it is to use, click the link join the call. Other products have overcomplicated themselves and not everyone wants to download an app and make an account just to join a meeting. In the beginning I was having technical issues often, however in the last 1-2 years google seems to have sorted this out and my calls run much smoother.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It seems like not all features are available on the web browser safari. I understand google would prefer us to us chrome however these should be able to have support on safari as well. One example is changing the background of the video, for me it only works in Chrome and says unsupported in safari.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would suggest to try it out - it's free.

Cleaner and simpler user interface than Teams.
