This helps in easy email integration, and since almost everyone today has their Gmail account, this makes work very easy. Another thing is that one does not need to create a different account in order to make use of Google Drive. Any user who has their own Gmail account gets access to their Google Drive by default. This makes it very convenient for users.

Collaboration among different users is made very easy, since Google Drive enables users to collaborate with others and share documents like spreadsheets, presentations, etc. Changes made by any user are visible to the other users, which enables better communication and improves productivity among the team.
