Offline mode is useful but sometimes unreliable.

If you have decided to go with Google Drive, then I recommend using its free version, which offers 15 GB of space for you. Once you are familiar with its features, you go for the full version or a paid plan of it.

What differentiates Google Drive from other similar products?
Google Drive's encryption is better than iCloud's for keeping private information safe. It's where I keep important work on my computer.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
AES 256-bit encryption locks my clients' contracts, which is required by law. To make links even safer, like for formal documents, I can set passwords for them. The vault keeps files for checks, which protects me.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There is no zero-knowledge encryption, so I encrypt very important things on the outside. One time, I was worried that shared links didn't have a built-in lock, and a client opened an old file. The support bot was slow and sent me to FAQs that didn't help me.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Drive's security is strong enough to keep your files safe, but you can add your own for top secrets.
