What differentiates Google BigQuery from other similar products?
Features such as BQML and federated queries are advantageous as they greatly reduce the time required to access data from the data warehouse facility in a typical context. We don't need RAM on our local computer because it's in the cloud, which I find very convenient. Using SQL scripts without a server has the advantage of simplifying the management of large volumes of data.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
To easily build tables, control data visibility rights, connect to new data sources, automate alerts, or schedule data processing activities, I like to use Google BigQuery. It may serve as a comprehensive big data storage solution that allows me to easily access sales and marketing data in one place. Data may be readily restored using a straightforward console that doesn't require any training. You can establish time-limited automated security copies that can be locked.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Optimizations are still missing in both data visualization and user experience. The user interface needs optimization.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I recommend Google BigQuery is compatible with regular SQL, switching to this database will not require any changes to your core infrastructure or your queries. It will just work if you link your web app as well. It guarantees compatibility with different types of databases that follow SQL standards.
