Fantastic tool for analyzing & making improvements

What differentiates Gong from other similar products?
Because this software records and stores both the audio and text of every conversation, I never have to worry about losing important information. I never imagined that a call recording system would become one of my favorite workplace tools, but it has revolutionized my productivity. Having access to a record of my calls and analyzing them has helped me identify areas for development.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like how Gong records my whole chat with a client, so I can go back and review it later for any details I may have missed. I also appreciate the scorecards, integrations, and library. It integrates well with Salesforce and Outreach, giving us access to information we would never have otherwise. I think it's great that we can hear from customers more personally.
What do you dislike most about this product?
While I haven't found anything to complain about thus far in my Gong study, one feature I'd want to see included is the option to forward a call's recording to my inbox immediately afterward. One drawback of the app is that video call quality is subpar. Sometimes Gong doesn't join a call even though he knows it will be recorded.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
To call Gong only a "recording tool" would be to undersell its utility. It's not only that; with this, we've seen tremendous gains in how we approach sales. Our marketing group is gaining valuable insight from Gong about client desires, needs, and what people DON'T know about our product. Thanks to the software, we have made tremendous progress in our knowledge of the sales cycle.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Performance Enhancing
- Trustworthy
- Inspires Innovation

Outstanding Tool for Analyzing Calls with Customer
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Gong from other similar products?
Since I can make phone conversations and video conferences, I can feel more connected to our clients. Furthermore, by listening in on their chats, we can get insights into their likes, dislikes, and areas of ignorance, from which we can then develop relevant instructional material. It also denotes the beginning and ending times of individual call segments.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Having a written record of your conversations is convenient for review and reference after the fact. I can also clip relevant parts of the conversation and share them with colleagues in other parts of my organization. Access to many calls expedited my onboarding by exposing me to real-world dialogues. I like the data and the "listen later" option on my mobile device.
What do you dislike most about this product?
More video tutorials on the available tools and how to make the most of them would be appreciated. In my experience, the metrics aren't always spot-on, but because it's impossible to evaluate every single call scientifically, this isn't a significant concern. There is no method to include LinkedIn messages, SMS discussions, or in-person meetings in the record.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
As a consequence of our positive outcomes, it is undoubtedly a piece of software that we advocate for inside our company. The massive issue of having to record sales interactions is now resolved. It has helped us pinpoint the bottlenecks in our sales calls and chats with clients. Having the option to jot down notes during the call is fantastic. Recommended.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Enables Productivity
- Effective Service

Effective onboarding and training

What differentiates Gong from other similar products?
Assembling call libraries is a breeze using Gong. It simplifies scaling up to accommodate more people and expanding existing teams. Missed chances, strong calls, and pipeline gaps are all detailed in the alert emails. Using Gong, you can quickly examine and double-check that you do not forget any of the meeting's key points.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Gong's ability to record phone conversations and transcribe them for the later study is a huge time-saver. Gong captures the discussion and follows up with a summary email that details the agreed-upon next steps. It also flags any follow-up tasks mentioned so that nothing important gets missed. The transcripts are helpful since they are word-for-word. Gong is an excellent method of mentoring and training.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Today, Gong's only real drawback is that it's so powerful that you never get around to utilizing it. There is no method to include LinkedIn messages, SMS discussions, or meetings in the log, which might result in insufficient information for the AI. It doesn't account for interactions outside of formal channels like email, discussions, and phone calls but is nevertheless crucial to the progress of a transaction.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Using Gong, it has created more robust pipelines, sped up the onboarding process for new team members, and increased our overall efficiency. It helps analyze conversations with the team and discuss both areas for growth and accomplishment. Unless you are completely financially independent, GongGong is a good idea.
