What differentiates GoAnywhere MFT from other similar products?
Ease of use and capabilities. We had a contract with another vendor. That product never worked for the entire duration of the contract. We had multiple contractors and onsite visits from the vendor. No one could make it work for us. I had almost given up on a workable, scalable, easy to implement solution. I stumbled upon HelpSystems and GoAnywhere quite by accident. In TWO HOURS I had GoAnywhere MFT transferring files in our system. The product simply works, and it works really well. We are always finding new business uses for this product. I could not be happier with this product. This product has made me a fan.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Ease of use hands down. Any product that you can find, install and have working in two hours... and having never seen it before... speaks volumes to me. It is just easy to use and it flat out works.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I haven't really found anything I "dislike" about GoAnywhere. Even things that are "not on par" with the rest of the product are above what I have seen with other products.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Look at all the options. Listen to the other vendors when they tell you that "you will need someone to install this for you". Consider High Availability options, disaster recovery, backups, scalability, ease of use, encryption, ease of upgrades, total cost and measure your risks. The contract and the value we received just sealed the deal for me. I don't think anyone can compete, on the same level, in this space with GoAnywhere right now.
