What differentiates Fortinet FortiSIEM from other similar products?

FortiSIEM sets itself apart by combining security and performance monitoring into one easy platform. It’s great for spotting threats fast, scaling as you grow, and simplifying visibility across hybrid setups!

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The scalability, easyness in creating new rules and the integration with third party systems. The number of rules out of the box is huge; half are SIGMA Rules

What do you dislike most about this product?

It's heavily dependent on a SOAR solution, like FortiSOAR if tuning is not performed properly.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The product is quite interesting and it's quickly improving every day

Fortinet FortiSIEM's initial setup and configuration may seem complicated to certain users. It takes a lot of knowledge and effort to customise and deploy it the best way possible.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Conduct a thorough assessment of your organization's unique security requirements and current infrastructure prior to deploying Fortinet FortiSIEM. Make sure there are enough resources and knowledge available for implementation and continuing management. A pilot project or proof-of-concept might be carried out to assess appropriateness and efficacy.
