Robust Data Protection with Granular Control
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention from other similar products?
Offers over 1,500 out-of-the-box templates and policies mapped to global compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS), making setup faster and audit-friendly.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
This feature goes beyond traditional rule-based DLP by dynamically adjusting data protection policies based on user behavior and risk level. It helps strike the right balance between security and user productivity—minimizing false positives while still preventing data loss. By continuously analyzing context and intent, RAP allows security teams to focus on genuine threats without overwhelming them with noise. This intelligent approach truly sets Forcepoint DLP apart from other solutions.
What do you dislike most about this product?
While the platform is powerful and highly customizable, setting it up correctly requires in-depth knowledge and can be time-consuming. The user interface could be more intuitive, especially for new administrators, and managing exceptions or creating precise rules often involves a steep learning curve. Additionally, updates and troubleshooting sometimes require vendor support, which can slow down issue resolution.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Forcepoint DLP is feature-rich but can be complex. Ensure your IT/security team is well-trained or certified to handle configuration and policy management.
Pros
- Inspires Innovation
- Client's Interest First
- Friendly Negotiation
- Continually Improving Product

Strong DLP Solution with Simple Controls
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention from other similar products?
Forcepoint DLP is different because it looks at how people use data, not just what they’re doing. It can tell if something looks risky or unusual, which helps avoid false alarms. It’s also easy to use and works well with other tools, so it's simple to manage. The setup process is smooth, and the dashboard makes it easy to keep an eye on things. It saves time and helps keep data safe without getting in the way of work.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite thing about Forcepoint DLP is that it understands user behavior really well. It doesn’t just block things randomly , it checks the context and alerts only when something seems off. This makes my work easier because I don’t have to deal with too many false alarms. The dashboard is also clean and simple, so I can quickly see what’s happening and take action if needed.
What do you dislike most about this product?
As of now, it works well.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you're planning to use this product, just make sure to go through the settings slowly and test things out. It takes a bit of time to get used to, but once it’s set up properly, it works really well. It’s helpful to start small and adjust based on your needs instead of enabling everything at once.

- Helps Innovate
