What differentiates Enonic from other similar products?
Enonic is noted for its flexibility and being a developer friendly platform. Unlike other platforms that feel bloated, complex or difficult to navigate, Enonic offers powerful features while maintaining ease of use. The content API is quick and dependable, and works well with contemporary frontend frameworks.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Managing the content as well as publishing it are among my personal favorites. It is user friendly for content managers while remaining versatile for tech-savvy users. Furthermore, the time and effort-savings from the real-time preview feature are immense.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Less experienced developers, more especifically with JavaScript-based stacks, may take a bit longer to ramp up. Moreover, while documentation is useful, some more advanced scenarios are missing in-depth examples.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Make sure to check Enonic’s content model and APIs beforehand; you won’t regret it. Also, make sure to enlist both developers and the content team in the initial setup so everything is adjusted correctly to your processes. If you need a freeform CMS with a strong focus on performance, it’s certainly something to consider.
