What differentiates Couchbase Server from other similar products?
We used this software to develop our company's application. It is a software that although it has a medium to high learning curve, we were able to get the most out of each of its tools. It also allows us to collect data from different web pages to be able to develop an application to the clients' liking.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It has an alert program, which detects any anomaly that occurs in the application while we develop it and in its execution, being able to fix almost immediately any error that occurs. I like that I can modify a specific part of the application without having to alter the rest, which makes it very useful in case of specific errors.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It can be a little slow when loading the data I'm needing. I would also like it to have more specific search and filters for data retrieval, so that I don't waste so much time searching for the exact material. Its learning curve is high if you don't have the necessary knowledge.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I recommend this software 100% because it has been the only one that has helped us in the development department to create simple, friendly and easy to understand applications for our customers. What I find most interesting is that we can correct without delay, any error that arises, avoiding inconvenience to our users.

It is fast and flexible database, and provides high security to the data and is easy to use.

There is a huge inbalance between the community and enterprise version and initial setting time is time consuming.

What differentiates Couchbase Server from other similar products?
It is a good alternative to other document-oriented databases, since it offers support for JOINs in your queries through its own N1QL query language, similar to standard SQL in terms of notation with an extension of functionalities on JSON documents.In this way, It is a good solution for applications that do not have a fixed model with which to handle the schema and entities.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Couchbase offers us a type of distribution at an architecture level in which services and nodes can be established and managed independently, where each service can be distributed and deployed so that its resources are provisioned according to the use case. As far as architecture and services are concerned, Couchbase offers great flexibility, since any service can be flexibly implemented in the available hardware resources, providing multidimensional scaling (Multidimensional Scaling - MDS), so that a cluster can be adjusted to optimal handling of emerging workloads.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The size of the documents is limited to 20MB and sometimes it is difficult to scale with this limitation. Regarding the queries with the N1QL language, sometimes they become heavy and an adjustment it is necessary to obtain a better performance.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I recommend testing this product as a NoSQL solution for those looking for an alternative that improves the handling capabilities of large amounts of data.
