One of the uses that this tool has had within my organization is as a base for internal and external consultation and has been very useful in providing quick solutions to problems and incidents that arise with the products and services we offer. The flow of information has been another factor greatly improved with the acquisition of this tool; it is a great ally to store, refresh, and consult the documentation of the organization's projects, products, and services.

I love the way I can collaborate with my colleagues through Confluence and how the whole team can contribute and organize information within the environment; it serves to complement each other. What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?
Confluence is mostly used for documentation. Several divisions rely on it as their primary source of documentation. As I know, it is utilized by Engineers, IT, Management Consulting, Sales, and other departments. It has a nice user interface for training and security systems, also widgets (plug-ins) if extra features are necessary.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The interface is simple and intuitive, and the design is adaptive. The software is always being improved, as seen by new dashboard, searching, working practices, and workflows capabilities. A large variety of connection packages are available to augment base capabilities
What do you dislike most about this product?
Customers have reported, like with other Atlassian services, that portions of Confluence are tough to understand straight away. Confluence isn't really a free program, however it does provide free week-long tryout.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
JIRA is an excellent tool for organizing needs, tasks, test or acceptance processes. Confluence's website is ideal for small to big enterprises looking for reliable data exchange solutions.
