What differentiates Concur Expense from other similar products?

Concur Expense differentiates itself form other similar products with its best in class customer service and user support. I fi ever have an issue with the application I can quickly and easily get ahold of their support team and get an answer to my question(s) in a short amount of time rather than having to wait for an email or pray that someone will call me back from one of our former providers. Thus, I am able to quickly and easily get answers and continue with my tasks.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of this product is the detailed records that it keeps of all my expenses and reimbursements and what exactly they were of/where I was going for them and my ability to see the workflow to ensure that it went through all of the proper channels. If there were ever any questions of my activity I could easily pull this information and show the details for the items in my work activities.

What do you dislike most about this product?

My biggest dislike with the product is the user interface and the constant questioning of myself of if I am in the right screen or navigating to the appropriate area to ensure that I can done what I need to do. Further, the dashboard can be very confusing and I keep needing to search for the appropriate area rather than it being right on the front page.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

For someone considering this product I would recommend that it be for a company that is well-established and mature as it can be a complicated product for a smaller company or a company that does have a large amount of expenses flowing through their system. I would also recommend that they ensure that their user base is willing and able to learn what exactly they will need to do in the system and come in with an open mind as it can be complicated and frustrating to get started in.

What differentiates Concur Expense from other similar products?

The OCR feature for receipts & auto-matching with incoming credit card transactions is great

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Once you understand the quirks of the ExpenseIt feature, it's a smooth process to add expense receipts & get them completely documented without having to revisit them later.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Our expense cycle doesn't follow the calendar month, so the features in the Expense Assistance aren't totally helpful. We have to go through extra steps to get newly added ExpenseIT receipts added to the current report before we can even update the Expense Type & other field values.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's a bit pricey for what it is if you're only using it for expense tracking. Shop around & understand what you're getting before committing. Pricing per expense report submitted is also unexpected.

Concur Expense is easy to deploy and use where it can be deployed from cloud or hybrid and all of this simplifies its usage across all organizations.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Concur Expense helps us in auditing our bills and expenses and in doing so it helps us in fighting fake bills and eliminate wastage of our resources. Its easily accessible from cloud and this instant recording and accounting of incurred bills thus remain efficient. Customer support is available and willing to help all users in using the platform in an reliable manner.

What do you dislike most about this product?

When internet connection is poor usage of the platform becomes a bit impaired at times and this may delay the accurate recording of bills incurred.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

SAP Concur Expense is built for modern businesses and it will help in auditing and keeping genuine records of incurred expenses and this is crucial in ensuring prudent usage of your available resources.
