What differentiates Concur Expense from other similar products?
When we automate and integrate expense management with Concur Expense, we can capture expenses from multiple sources, make smart business decisions based on accurate data, and simplify the process for everyone. SAP Concur helps me create and manage ongoing expense reports without a lot of extra effort which is a big help, autofilling corporate charges is also a big help and eliminates a lot of manual entry that other systems need even for expenses simpler.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
With SAP Concur, we rely heavily on automation, configuration, smart reporting tools, consulting services, and our relationship with our customer success manager, all of which help us take what would otherwise be a massive amount of work and simplify it so that we have the data we need to act. SAP Concur is excellent at classifying and arranging costs for individual projects, and it is simple to bundle items together to reduce the possibility of mistakes or miscategorization of any expense.
What do you dislike most about this product?
When you need to distribute multiple charges, it frequently gets more complex and difficult. Without an overarching project to assign to, the necessity for user-created groups, reports, and report details makes it highly likely that you will fail. Because we require accounting to be input when reporting costs, it would be fantastic if some validation was performed after entering it to see whether or not it was an acceptable accounting. Perhaps this is only a feature that my organization does not use, but anything that can be done to validate accounting in real time would be really beneficial.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
SAP Concur is extremely effective at fixing the problem of having accountants manually enter and upload all expenditures, but Concur performs a decent job of importing expenses and making it easy to attach receipts. Filling out expense reports is often the most difficult aspect of work travel; SAP makes it easier by integrating the majority of my spending from our company credit card.
