Superb efficacy, but comes at a cost.

What differentiates Cisco Secure Firewall from other similar products?
The superb threat intelligence provided by Cisco talos, the sandboxing integrations with threat grid and now also that you can include orchestration worflows through API integrations with SecureX XDR.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Granularity in policy. Clear and intuitive user interface with Mirepower management centre.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The FTD software images have been somewhat "buggy" historically,. Thankfully the reliability issues here seem to have vastly improved over the past 12 months.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Make sure the partner spec'ing the solution uses the performance calculate from Cisco rather than the data sheet numbers. Advanced services being enabled will have a big impact on CPU Utilisation.
