What differentiates Box from other similar products?

The value for money that box offers is effective. Good search and document sharing function because it consolidates your online content into one convenient location to organize, you can create files and folders securely and continue to work with them on the same computer. You can host all your file systems in box, and access it from any device and share files with a simple link.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

For a very lightweight software it is very self explanatory that it has all the advanced features that adapt it to general quality cloud document archiving and sharing services and large document sharing for collaborative work, classification of documents by folders which allows the user to invite external to contribute to specific work areas/topics/documents.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The synchronization function and the synchronization functions of MS word are a bit slow and could be improved, there are times when documents take a while to synchronize, slowing down group work and the limited offline capability as well as falling short in the area of asset management. For example, we cannot currently sync specific folders directly from my computer to our box.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

With box we have not enabled the ability to securely safeguard sensitive and non-sensitive files, which is probably the goal when using Box. However, Box also does well in other areas such as integration with third party applications. we also use it to enhance vital operational activities such as collecting digital signatures, automating certain repeatable tasks and collaboration. It is a good recommendation from many users and customers.

Simple and scalable platform that allow quick sharing of encrypted files and enable compliance reporting and file transfer management. It lets us customize permissions to decide who can access our data and for how long

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

This platform supports remote file sharing so we access files on Box from any device and location. It is also designed to let us sync large files in less time, without slowing productivity or wasting bandwidth

What do you dislike most about this product?

Box doesn't support FTP file sharing technique and also doesn't allow us to lock files which could help prevent conflicts between users who are trying to simultaneously edit or share a file

The goal of Box is to help businesses securely and swiftly share files between different systems without interruptions, complications or data loss

What differentiates Box from other similar products?

All files uploaded or shared through Box are end-to-end encrypted ensuring all files are safe, sound, and accessible employees within the company. Box stores valuable data, files, videos, and pictures alongside the option of making these files available offline for later preview

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

From a security point of view, Box also provides remote lockout device services. This is the best way of making sure that our data remains locked on a particular device to help prevent unauthorized access

What do you dislike most about this product?

The data retrieval speed of Box is not great. Initial configuration like Authentication, Authorization and Access token management is a little complex

The platform allows users to share files with other people by sharing folders or individual files with others ans sending links to specific folders. It makes it easy to collaborate on projects with colleagues or clients
