What differentiates AWS CloudFormation from other similar products?
AWS cloudformation can be used to deploy the infrastructure within AWS cloud, rather to go with Terraform as the separate vendor, we use different modules and environment variables for the deployment and we could use the same template
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The UI tool is useful and all resources can segregated based on the stacks which provides greater visibility
What do you dislike most about this product?
Documentation need to be improved and some services take a lot of time to create and it is frustrating after waiting for 20 minutes some services fails
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It needs to include more custom dashboards and templates to use

There are options like pulumi and Terraform that provides additional features and options that we had like to leverage at times

AWS cloudformation relatively easy to understand and write up, the editor is readily available in AWS console and massive adoption by 3rd party tools and agents
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
YAML can be used to write the statements and easy to learn, this is complete automation tool and we have the automation environment with this tool and integrated with other third party applications
What do you dislike most about this product?
This tool is limited to AWS platform level infra only, can't use it for server internal configurations purposes or hybrid cloud
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
AWS cloudformation is solving the business continuity issues for many organisations around the globe and simple steps we can create templates of the application
