What is AutoCAD?
AutoCAD is computer-aided design (CAD) software that is used for precise 2D and 3D drafting, design, and modeling with solids, surfaces, mesh objects, documentation features, and more. It includes features to automate tasks and increase productivity such as comparing drawings, counting, adding objects, and creating tables. It also comes with seven industry-specific toolsets for electrical design, plant design, architecture layout drawings, mechanical design, 3D mapping, adding scanned images, and converting raster images. AutoCAD enables users to create, edit, and annotate drawings via desktop, web, and mobile devices.

What differentiates AutoCAD from other similar products?
There is nothing like it in engineering drawing. It covers all needs efficiently and supports participation and teamwork. The organized interface and shortcuts it provides make drawing and designing fun.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
AutoCAD is the best system for engineering drawing. Serves all specialties with high efficiency. I love the ease of creating several layers on the same drawing and the ease of turning off some of them in order to focus on specific parts of the same drawing. I also like the possibility of dividing the drawing into many parts and enlarging them to clarify them. I also like the sharing capabilities as well as the protection options that prevent unauthorized people from making any modifications.
What do you dislike most about this product?
This is not a negative thing, but any AutoCAD user constantly needs to attend training workshops to learn more skills and understand new updates.

What differentiates AutoCAD from other similar products?
AutoCAD is unique due to its wide industry acceptance, strong 2D and 3D design toolkit, exceptional precision, and ability to be customized via plugins and APIs. It remains a top option for architects, engineers, and designers due to its seamless interface with other Autodesk products, robust community support, and ongoing innovation.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The high learning curve in AutoCAD is the feature I detest the most. Even with its many capabilities, new users frequently find it difficult to use because of its intricate interface and wide range of capability, which can be intimidating in the absence of sufficient training and experience.
