What differentiates Asana from other similar products?
Asana's rules beat idea for automating jobs that are done over and over, with triggers that save clicks. It's my computer robot to get things done quickly.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Rules move jobs automatically from "approved" to "done" or assign them based on tags, such as "urgent." I can set my own triggers, which makes processes easier. Our team stays up to date on rule changes thanks to the Slack app.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Users who pay $13.49 a month get rules, but free users don't get any.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
For automation, Asana's rules are a boost to work.

The way tasks, deadlines, and updates are organized in one place makes it easy to stay focused and know exactly what’s happening across the team—without endless back-and-forth. It just makes collaboration feel smoother.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It can be slow at times, especially when working with larger projects or switching between views. The lag can be frustrating and disrupt the flow when you're trying to move quickly through tasks.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you're considering Asana, start by clearly mapping out your workflow so you can choose the best view (List, Board, Timeline) for your team. Take advantage of its automation features to save time on repetitive tasks. It’s great for collaboration, but works best when everyone commits to using it consistently—so ensure your team is aligned.
