Easy to use, keeps us on track!!
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Asana from other similar products?
Simple and clean interface that was easy for everyone to learn.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Asana's been a gamechanger for keeping us on track and making sure that the whole team really knows what's going on. My favorite part at the moment is the ability to tie tasks to higher level goals so that everyone can be kept up to date on the context of the company. The notes sections in each task are also great for giving everyone the information that's needed.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It may be that we haven't experimented with it enough but the interfaces for time tracking and budgeting have been more unwieldy than I'd like - for our early stage company implementation it's been easier to use it for general task planning rather than resource allocation and specific management of hours allocated by each person to each project.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Definitely do some pre-planning of your architecture to determine how the team is expected to use it and set out clear expectations on what conventions you want to use before rolling it out. There's enough customization possible that that structure is needed!
Pros
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
- Reliable
- Transparent
