What differentiates Asana from other similar products?
We've had issues in the past with employees duplicating efforts on projects and not discovering it until it was too late and too much work had been invested in the project. We can also have better communication with Asana about where projects are at. We track KPIs, project management, feature requests, and ideas in one location so that all team members can access and contribute in real time. We were able to increase project management productivity by using Asana.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
If you want to get organized at work every day and keep your coworkers organized on projects, to-do lists, and so on, Asana is for you. Working in the supply chain, hardware, or computer software, regardless of industry. Asana provides our team with a degree of structure that we did not believe was feasible. Multiple team members can work on projects and assist coordinate tasks to avoid duplicating efforts.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Because Asana is such a strong tool, there is a lot to learn in order to utilize it appropriately. The number of activities that occur in Asana between teams, projects, and coworkers, as well as the alerts that arise from them, can be overwhelming at times. I was nearly confused where to begin at first, but after we built a strategy for our team, it was a terrific learning tool.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
When you've determined that Asana is the best tool for your team, conduct a walkthrough and define a clear procedure for how you want to utilize the system to ensure that it's used consistently. If not everyone actively participates, you may have certain difficulties. Better control over the alerts you get would be ideal. Going through countless settings and figuring out how to turn off certain notifications isn't always a good user experience.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
