SpaceClaim is used in a number of applications including concept modeling, bid modeling, 2D to 3D transition, manufacturing, reverse engineering, sheet metal manufacturing and model prep.

What differentiates Ansys SpaceClaim from other similar products?
The "smart" design features are actually nice, you can make design changes very quickly which is useful for FEA
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Definitely the smart design features mentioned above
What do you dislike most about this product?
It's clunky when trying to make traditional design changes, to the point that it would have been easier to just model in SolidWorks and import rather than mess around with SpaceClaim
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If using with Workbench, just import geometry from your favorite 3D modeler, instead.

What differentiates Ansys SpaceClaim from other similar products?
From the very beginning I used only this software from all of my design solutions and is never let me down in any aspect and features
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
In ansys you can see all the stress and strain applies to the joint or to the design at any given point or at the band so this is so much time saving for us engineer to recognise from where the Machines is going to fail
What do you dislike most about this product?
I didn't find anything there to dislike but some time to run the simulation for station strain it took ok very longer than usual
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Just go for it it will save time and money and your machine from failure

SpaceClaim Engineer provides an excellent solution for designing Engineers to easily create accurate 3D models for various projects, like Mechanical parts among others.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
All the SpaceClaim Engineer tools are very simple to learn on hw to design through its clean and straightforward interface.
What do you dislike most about this product?
No dislike from me on the solutions capabilities, everything is simple and functional with no errors.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I strongly recommend SpaceClaim Engineer as a nice and perfect Engineering 3D designing platform that allows easy creation of different professional designs.
