What differentiates Adobe Connect from other similar products?
In my experience, the biggest difference with Adobe Connect is that it has a system of pods. One pod is for video, another for chat, a third for a whiteboard, a fourth for a poll. It looks very professional to carry out any sort of task management in this way. This is not the case with Microsoft Teams or Zoom. It is also designed for very large meetings. We once did a webinar with 200 clients, everyone joined without any lag.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
What I like the most is its whiteboard feature. When I have to explain a marketing model to a client, I can use my mouse to draw charts, write numbers, explain formulas. Any sort of other whiteboard’s performances is very weak in front of it. It saves my life in daily use where I’m able to use the breakout rooms as well. When I train my team, I do sub-divide them into smaller groups that brings more transparency in my work.
What do you dislike most about this product?
What I hate the most about this tool is its user interface. If you press any sort of a button in wrong ways, it will distort the whole screen. The working speed also needs to be enhanced in a great manner. As it runs slowly so my daily operations are directly affected due to the loading pages speed as well.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I recommend using it for at least a month before buying it. I bought it without a trial because Adobe was a big name. It takes time to learn, a lot of time to get yourself accustomed to this tool. Only use it for large meetings and webinars. If you have a quick meeting with five people, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet are better.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
